Judge was the competitor of Life and is similar in scope. It was started by artists who left Puck Magazine. It's pedigree is varied including Harold Ross who worked as an editor, but then left in 1925 to start a new magazine called The New Yorker . We purchased the archive of Life and Judge from the accountants years ago. These are unread and uncirculated.
