This is the seventh studio album by Sweden's H.E.A.T., who have risen to become one of the leaders in the melodic rock world. Eric Gronwall (vocalist) left the band after the release of the previous album. After that, Kenny Lecremo, the first vocalist of the band, made a surprise return to the band and surprised the fans. This is the first album after Kenny's return.

The title of the album, "Force Majeure," is a French word that originally means "force majeure," referring to natural disasters, wars, famines, epidemics, and other external events that cannot be predicted or controlled. It is a word that truly describes the current situation of the entire world in a nutshell, and for the band, it is also a word that represents their feelings about not having been able to perform enough music over the past few years. However, this album, which was produced to break through such a situation, is a work of melodic rock at its finest, as if the band had unleashed all their talent, and it is no exaggeration to say that this album proves that the band has just reached its peak.
