The usual way to send this collector's item is neatly folded (see 2nd pic) in an envelope, this is the form the vast majority of Japanese sumo lovers receive the banzuke.

CONDITION NOTES: banzuke are made from very thin paper, and are very hard to keep in pristine condition, so almost any banzuke will have some slight bends, dents etc. Prices are based on condition and age. 

ALSO, some banzuke I have received sometimes come folded differently and with more or less care depending on the person (often a junior wrestler). I have no control over this.
