Vintage, antique Hardcover First Edition 1839 The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby by Charles Dickens with illustrations by Phiz published by Chapman and Hall. 624 pgs. Bookplate inside front cover. Looks like calf tan leather spine with Board. Spine at bottom breaking off as well as cracked within some looseness showing throughout still holding well. Cover has bumping and scuffs and wear from extensive age. Page tanning normal with age though many illustrations have foxing.
