DESIGNER/COMPANY/LOCATION: Los Ballesteros was established in the family’s home town of Iguala in 1937 by Jalil Majul Ballesteros who came from a long line of well-known silversmith artisans. In 1941, during a rebirth of the Mexican craft of silver, Jalil moved the family jewelry business to the colonial mining city of Taxco where it grew to become a large manufacturer and retailer of fine Mexican jewelry. Its jewelry tradition, unique designs, and exceptional craftsmanship have made Talleres de los Ballesteros a national reference among silver jewelry brands in Mexico and it has received international recognition for its designs. In the past as well as today, each piece is hand wrought by its Artisans who are truly gifted in making Silver come to life.

~ Stamped 925 MM-34 + Logo encircled with Talleres de Los Ballesteros; The stamp was cut off, but the missing part would also say Taxco.
CONDITION: Excellent Vintage condition with very minor/acceptable wear noticeable on close inspection! The piece has obviously been kept polished, but patina is beginning to form so may want to polish again.
MEASUREMENTS (approximate): 5.5” inner circumference with a 1-1/8” gap; 1.25” at widest; 39.3g
