In January 2021 Flangeway realised that a production issue meant that the OO Gauge Salmon wagons were released 25mm shorter than the prototype and therefore sales were suspended. These 'shorty' versions are now available to purchase at a massively reduced price.

Purchasing one of these wagons excludes you from the wagon body upgrade that Flangeway are offering.

Salmon bogie flat wagons were built between 1949 and the early 1960s but were based on earleir LMS design. Their main purpose was to carry rail lengths to and from work sites around the country.
