During the 1970s he began intensive research into the free combination of objects and figures within fantastic and suspended atmospheres, inspired by Neodada research and Pop Art. In these years he experimented with various pictorial techniques, in which he combined fluorescent colors, decalcomania, collage, photographic transpositions.

Between 1972 and 1973 he exhibited in the main private galleries of Florence, presented by the poet and friend Alfonso Gatto.
