The MX5 offers flexible inputs and outputs for any situation, including a 1/4" guitar input jack, two 1/4" main output jacks with TRS balanced connections for switching between amp and line outputs, 1/8" MIDI in/out jacks (5-pin MIDI conversion cable included), and a 1/4" stereo FX loop. 1/4" stereo FX loop (send/return) TRS in/out jacks, and a 1/4" TRS input jack for external expression pedals for easy integration into existing setups.

The MX5 can be tailored to fit the sound of any space, from rehearsal studios to live venues, and when used in spaces with acoustics different from the room where the preset was created, the Global Equalizer feature allows for quick adaptation without having to change the effects pedal settings. The HeadRush MX5 can also be used with the HeadRush MX5. If the HeadRush MX5 is connected to a PC, it can also record and reamp via its built-in 24-bit 96 kHz audio interface.
