These Simpson Stainless Steel Wall Ties are used to join two masonry walls together such that they become one stable unit.
Type 2: Masonry General Purpose
- A general purpose wall tie.
- Can be used in small commercial and domestic buildings which are up to 15m high.
- Can be used in buildings which are taller than 15m if calculations can show that they are of adequate strength.
- For use in flat sites which have wind speed less than 31 m/s and are situated no higher than 150m above sea level.
Type 4: Masonry Light Duty
- A light duty wall tie.
- Can be used in box-form buildings which are up to 10m high.
- For use in flat sites within cities and towns which have wind speed less than 25 m/s and are situated no higher than 150m above sea level.
