Here we have a superb waisted Czech Sklo Union glass vase. This was made by Rosice Glassworks and designed by Jan Schmid in 1960! This wonderful vase has a fabulous design/shape (number 1032) showing a ribbed/ripple/textured op art design all around. This comes in a citrine yellow colour which is pretty hard to come by, you will probably see 30+ of these in aqua/blue in comparison before you find one of these. It's a design classic, significantly undervalued in my opinion. It's so stylish with its ahead of its time design. This is also more uncommon as it's the larger of the two sizes this vase came in, it measures just under 8 inches by just over 3.5 inches, weighing fractionally over 1kg! A gorgeous mid century chunky piece of glass with a lovely shape and feel to it. Perfect to add to a collection of 1032 vases, for your home, the collector of Sklo or mid century glassware. This is the only one this colour for sale on eBay so get it while you can. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.

Please see my other items where I have a large selection of quality glassware for sale among many decorative antiques and interesting items.

Please Note;

I use new & recycled materials to ensure that your item arrives to you safely. I pack all of my items the best I can which you will see from my feedback. However, as with fragile items there is always a risk, items such as Antiques/Collectables, glass, ceramics, paintings etc are not insured for damage by any of the postal services, with the exception of The Royal Mail. This is why I offer a choice of postage options, so you can choose your preferred postage method. Collection in person is also available on all of my items. In the unfortunate, and unlikely event that something does get damaged or goes missing with the Royal Mail then I will do my very best to assist you in making a claim. I always obtain proof of postage for all of my sent items. Sadly I cannot be held responsible for the postal services poor handling of parcels. Here are a few links regarding Royal Mails compensation policies and how to make a claim if necessary.

International Buyers – Please Note:

Import duties; sometimes there will be a charge, I think this is mainly charged on high value items, this is something that the Government enforces to which I have no control of. I declare the value of the parcel as the price the item sold for plus shipping costs.

Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.

Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding or buying.
