About the Australia doublet opal: A doublet opal is a layer of precious light opal bonded to a black backing, simulating black opal. Doublets are usually more expensive than triplets because more opal is used. The opal layer and backing material used in doublet opal are all 100% natural from Australia!

About the photos: I took the photos in our yard by myself and I never did any photo enhance. So, I can assure that the products are much nicer than the pictures! Because opal always plays colors under different light source and from different directions, so, it is quite difficult to say correctly what colors of the opal. We only can mainly show the colors of the opals from the photos, but NOT all colors. I have tried my best to show the colors which I can see from the opals.
