Stunning Antique 1875 Simpson Hall Miller Treble Plate Silverplate Tilting Water Pitcher

Figural tray stand adorned with Pegasus figures; etched floral design on the cup, tray and pitcher. Handle is decorated with a Gargoyle head. Spout is stylized in a shell shape. There is also a built in filter inside the pitcher -  a rare feature!

The pitcher is stamped on the bottom " Simpson Hall Miller & Co - Treble Plate" and " Patent Applied For".

It is also inscribed on the front: "Presented To The Reb.John Scott On His Leaving London ON By The Children Of St. Andrew's Church Sabbath School As A Token Of Affection - London, Ont. - May 1875"

An amazing piece of history here!

The pitcher on the stand measures approximately 15.5"H; the tray is about 12.25" x 8 3/8"; the cup is 3.5"H.

There is a dent on the side of the water pitcher. Tarnish is present. Scratches. As expected with age. Overall, very good condition for its age.
