Laurina single origin coffee beans usually grow on La Reuinion Island. 8oz bags

The cultivar is known as Dwarf Bourbon Pointu.

The most exciting and special quality this bean has is its naturally low in caffeine. It's has around 90-97% less caffeine than the average Arabica coffee beans, making it nearly non-caffeinated NATURALLY! Most caffeine free or decaffeinated coffee has to have the caffeine removed by chemical processing or Swiss Water processing but there is always a residual bitter burnt flavor which remains. The Laurina Beans do not have the residual yucky taste because it grows without the caffeine naturally so it's flavor is more of a milky hot chocolate taste if roasted medium and fruity when roasted light.

We, at Muth Rosten Haus, roast all of our beans to order so we can do it light or medium if you choose to request one over the other please leave a note in the comments, otherwise, we will roast it at a City level.

This little known bean is a very rare and fickle bean which few farmers have been able to grow successfully and due to its sensitivity to climate, it is usually only found on La Reunion Island and the plant on which it grows bares few beans. Because of all of this, many farmers don't attempt to grow this bean.

Muth Rosten Haus offers over 40 different types of specialty beans so if you are interested in one that you don't see, please send us a message and, if we have it, we will list it for you.
