This Official Major League Baseball was used during the May 1, 2008 game between the Detroit Tigers and the New York Yankees at Yankee Stadium. This was the final year for "the old" Yankee Stadium and the ball is stamped with the "Final Year of Yankee Stadium" logo.
The ball is authenticated by MLB (BB898265). It was acquired by Steiner Sports from the Yankees and their hologram sticker is also on the ball.
The Tigers defeated the Yankees in the Thursday night game 8-4. Miguel Cabrera led the Tigers going 2-4 with a home run and a triple and drove in 3 runs.
The ball will ship in a UV protected ball cube.
A printout of the MLB Authentication will accompany the ball. The only Steiner authentication is the sticker affixed to the ball.
