Outsider Art Bob Moore Cardboard Toy Sea Plane Sculpture Model.

Self-taught north Georgia artist Bob Moore uses simple household materials to create expressive paintings, sculptures, and assemblages that reflect his life and surroundings. Not much is publicly know about Moore beyond his prolific output. While his paintings tend to reflect neighborhood and community scenes, his sculptures are more focused with a greater effort towards realism, often models of boats, planes and, trucks, busses.

Crafted from cardboard, tape, household items, and paint, the somewhat crude construction of Moore's sea plane sculpture is contradicted by its clever rendering and exacting details like the cutout wing flaps, the clothespin landing buoys, and the plastic straw and thumbtack front propeller.
