To make the centerpiece for this beaded, tan, light brown, suede leather, drawstring pouch measuring:  16 x 11 cm. (6 1/4”x 4 3/8");  I did backstitch around a 30 x 22 mm. onyx cabochon, glued to felt;  using chocolate brown, black and brass, size 9 and 10, seed beads. 

This, I  beaded to the pouch, by doing backstitch;  using caramel brown, size 9, seed beads.

The 74 cm. (29") milk chocolate brown, suede leather cord drawstring is finished at the ends with tiger eye and onyx rounds, dyed pearls and pressed glass rondelles; all tied on with 7 strand beading wire. 

It has two sliding lock beads.  (See last picture).  

One, a black, bone bead, keeps the pouch tightly shut, while the other, a brass round, adjusts the strap length, so, it can be securely looped around a wrist, purse strap or belt loop.

This pouch will keep your treasures safe.
