Here is a beautiful hand painted urn and lid. This has a Chine signature on the bottom that I cannot read. This is china and maybe porcelain. It has a heavy, smooth finish that is on the very expensive jars. The original price was 239.00.
The background color is dark blue-not navy. The lid has gold leaf painting.
This appears to be chinoiserie. The painting looks French or American to me. The Ram heads on the sides are detailed.
