Here's a true rarity: an elaborate Japanese woman's wig complete in its carrying case with the stand inside, plus two plastic combs and several plastic ornaments. I've been told that the translations are: "Tomoko Beauty Salon" and "O-more Wig Shop" in Higashi/East O-i Shinagawa Ward Tokyo and that it's likely from the 1970s or later. The stand pulls out of the case on its own shelf so that you don't have to remove the wig from the head in order to style it. It appears to be in good condition as shown, with the hairdo needing some re-fixing. There's dust and flecks of lint mostly on the top. I haven't attempted to clean it. The outside of the case has some superficial losses as shown but is solid, as is the inner stand. If there's anything you need to know about, please let me know. I was told this was genuine hair, but it feels somewhat stiffer than that so I'm not going to claim that. Please examine the photos closely as this is sold as-is due to its delicacy.

It weighs just under 7 pounds before packing. Case size is 15 1/2" x 12" x 15".

Please feel free to ask any questions.

International sales may incur additional customs fees or VAT t axes that I have no knowledge of or control over. These are the responsibility of the buyer -- sellers aren't notified of these charges.

-- please ask any questions at all, leaving enough time for me to answer them

-- check the cost of shipping prior to bidding. Shipping can add quite a bit to the final price

-- if there are problems with your item after you receive it, please contact me! Leaving complaints in feedback doesn't help anyone, and I want to make the transaction good for both of us

Thank you so much for looking!
