Includes one autographed copy. Ultimate DVD Collection of Lisitsa Chopin 24 Etudes. For the Collector!!. In 2004, Valentina Lisitsa recorded the Chopin 24 Etudes and released it on DVD. Between 2004 and 2006 there were 5 different pressings of this DVD. This auction is for all 5 of the pressings. The pictures are in order as I am describing them, with as much detail as possible.
1. The original release. 2004. Cardboard case. Valal ©2004 Production. Picture format NTSC Color 4/3. Region Code 0 Sound format Stereo. The inside has no pictures. One page is editorial about "about the piano, and the 2nd page is a bio of Val. The DVD is Typed with no pictures. There is other info on the disc such s 24 bit 96kHz recording Apogee UV22 conversion. Blue disc, in near mint+ .You can see the picture of the back cover of the first disc.
2. This is new, sealed, so cannot see inside. Rear says VALAL 2004 Production Bosendorfer 1925 Grand piano. The PLASTIC CASE. The back is the same as #1 except the font of the writing under the red line is different.
3. Front is the same with the exceptions of the font and size, and the absence of the DVD logo. Plastic Case. The back Has a text paragraph at the very top, font of the contents is different. This one says Ciscomusic.com, Copyright 2004 and 2005, and the font and layout of the back under the redline is different. The inside comes with a booklet with B/W cover of VAl, Bio of Val and bio of the piano. Disc is Red and printed with no picture. Disc is NM+
4. Plastic Case. Same from cover as previous. The inside has a sing sheet talking about the piano with a Color picture of Val. The disc Is a Color picture disc. The back is a different color picture than 1-3. It is the same picture s the others on this disc.Valal 2004-2006. Again font of contents is different as is the information at the bottom. The color sheet inside the disc is AUTOGRAPHED in black sharpie. This is unusual as Valentina signed some of the first release that was sold by her directly by mail. Others were signed at concerts.
5. Cardboard cover. 2004 2006. Inside cover is info on piano. Color disc same as #4 except for line spacing has been edited.The plastic holder has a couple of cracks, but the disc NM+. The DVD logo on the front has "24 bit audio" added. The back is mostly the same with the information at bottom respaced, and the addition of a new Val Al Productions logo.
All the discs are in NM+ condition. The cases range form new to VG+. It has taken some time to collect all these pressings, but it is now time to part with them. IF you have any questions about any detail, feel free to ask. I have added another picture of the spine of all 5 DVDs.
