Cayennes are long, skinny, bright red peppers that contain a good deal of heat, typically 30,000-50,000 units. The plants can grow up to 4 feet tall, and should be spaced about 3” between plants. Peppers can fist be harvested about 80 days after transplanting, and will reach full maturity at roughly 100 days.
