The Sony VG-C4EM is a dedicated camera grip for the new Alpha and features an ergonomic design to give you a comfortable grip when holding your camera in the vertical position. The grip also improves mobility when shooting handheld. Its layout is similar to the overall design of the camera body, giving it the same feeling as when holding the camera horizontally. Other useful features include a secondary shutter button and Multi Selector. This camera grip can hold up to two high-capacity NP-FZ100 batteries to supply the a7R IV with additional power, effectively doubling its operation time and allowing you to shoot for prolonged periods uninterrupted. The batteries can be charged while still inside the camera grip using the USB port of the camera body. The VG-C4EM camera grip has a dust- and moisture-resistant magnesium alloy construction that is similar to the build of the Alpha. Use the Sony Alpha comfortably with the VG-C4EM vertical grip.
