2 Antique Edwin M Knowles China Rim Fruit/Dessert (Sauce) Bowls Jersey China Co. XXXX

These facinating bowls have a unique history. The pattern is very rare. It is similar to the KNO9 but not exact. It is Semi Vitreous China with gold trim & center medialion from May & June of 1914. It is unusual as the original Edwin M Knowles backstamp has been stamped over with another stamp from Jersey China Co. XXXX Each bowl is 5¼" in diameter, 1¼" tall with a base diameter of 3". All measurements are approximate.
These pieces are in "as found" condition. I leave it to the buyer to clean and/or polish as they wish.

Antique ~ Good pre-owned condition ~ Shows normal signs of use and age. There is an abundance of crazing which only adds to the beauty and charm of the antique bowls. There is also a chip below the rim on one of the bowls ~ please see photos for details.
