Protect Your Bracelet:
Regular care of your bracelet can extend its life. Rinse the bracelet under lukewarm running water and then dab off the water with a cotton cloth. Or let the bracelet dry on your wrist.
Open-Ended Watch Straps
Open End watch bands are designed to fit watch cases with fixed bars, commonly used on older watch models. Both attachment ends come with an adhesive coating, which allows them to be folded back on themselves and secured via a metal pin to close them, after being wrapped around the lugs attached to the time piece. Open-ended straps can also be fitted to watches with spring bars, but their primary use remains on watches with wire lugs.
In order to join the ends together around the lugs, follow these steps:
1. Wrap the open attachment ends around the lugs connected to the time piece.
2. Apply a small amount of Nail Varnish Remover (acetone, etc.) to the glue spots on the watch strap.
3. Use fitting clips to hold the strap ends together tightly for two hours to ensure a good bind between the two glue spots.
