Dizzy Bees is a URBAN garden in a large subdivision, located on beautiful Vancouver Island on the Westcoast of Canada.

While we started our journey to grow food, it soon became apparent that the bees didn’t know we were here. So, we began growing for the bees, pollinators, butterflies, birds, and one of our favourites: hummingbirds. Not only are they essential to growing food, but they each play an important role in creating a healthy ecosystem in every garden.

One of the most versatile filler plants you can grow, ‘Green Mist’ is a staple for flower arranging and mixed bouquets. Tall plants are easy to grow and produce an abundance of wide, umbel-shaped blooms over a long period of time. The lacy flower heads and crisp green-white color mix well with anything.

Start seed indoors in trays 6-8 weeks before last frost; transplant out while weather is still cool.
Harvesting/Vase Life:
Pick when 80 percent of the flowers on a stem are open. If harvested much earlier, the stems have a tendency to wilt. Fresh flowers will last 6-8 days in the vase and flower preservative is recommended.
