TRW - A lowering kit is designed to reduce the seat height so you can reach the floor with both feet to aid maneuvering the bike when stationary. We recommend a trained technican carry out any work that involves shortening of the shock absorber itself. Linkage kits can generally be fitted by anyone with the right tools and a basic understanding of motorcycle repairs.Depending on the exact model the seat height can be lowered by 20-50mm. The side stand may need to be shortened so that the bike will lean over correctly when on the side stand. If the bike has a main stand you may also find it needs to be removed depending on how much the bike has been lowered.
