Shipping Information: We recommend NOT using USPS Media Mail(R) when it is an option.  While we offer it for those who wish to pay the lowest shipping cost possible, there are a few potential problems with using this method.  It has lower priority than any other shipping method that USPS offers.  While they advertise delivery within 2-8 business days, that time-frame is highly dependent upon the amount of mail traffic they are currently experiencing.  During periods of high traffic or even low traffic, it is common for Media Mail(R) packages to take three weeks or longer to arrive at their destinations. Sometimes a month or more.  Media Mail(R) is surface shipping.  That means that if you are outside the continental U.S., it will take longer than 8 business days for you to receive your package. USPS is not consistent regarding scanning these packages.  That means it can be difficult to track a package's progress to its destination.  Most of the time a Media Mail(R) package will arrive within 2-8 business days, but it's a roll of the dice and no one selecting this shipping method should expect that their package will arrive within the advertised time-frame.  If timely delivery is essential for your order, we recommend selecting one of the higher-priced shipping options.
