The eight-inch butter dish showcases the famous Spode tree on the lid, with delicate sprigs of holly on the lid sides and on the handle ends of the dish. Larger sprigs of mistletoe and holly decorate the three-inch-high, egg-shaped salt-and-pepper shakers, which are pierced with differing numbers of holes for telling the salt and pepper apart. Made of high-quality earthenware, known as Imperialware, the shakers and butter dish are durable enough for everyday use during the holiday season and conveniently clean up in the dishwasher.
