Wax Gourd - Giant - 7 Seeds

This wax gourd is an easy-to-grow plant producing large, blocky, round gourds. These gourds weigh anywhere from 13-16kg. The fruit of this plant is green, with a white wax coating. It does well in hot temperatures and soils that aren't waterlogged. The plant has an extensive root system.

Sow in Spring & Summer. Pre-soak seeds in lukewarm water (30°C) for 24 hours. Sow 2cm deep. Germinates at 27-32°C in 7-14 days. Plant spacing 50cm apart. 100 days to maturity.
