I love these ornaments!  They are sooooo cute, featuring a dog that I believe to be a dachshund.  I had a dachshund, and she was a very good girl.  These ornaments are still here, while she is not, so they hurt me a bit to see them.  So!  I am passing them along to someone new.  They are antique Great Depression Era.  They are somewhere in that time frame.  They are very simply made, and are hand made. Folk Art are vintage and antique crafts that elevate to art.  I am listing these are folk art.  They are primitive, but have huge charm. I have included a photo of a little head that didn't have a cardboard disk so you can see what the heads look like on the back.  It isn't part of the group that you are buying; I used it years ago as a craft project.  I just wanted you to be able to see what the material look like.  It's a blown mold paper mache pulp that has been hand painted and added to the cardboard disk.  I have seen other ornaments like this, but these are the only ones that I have ever seen that look like dachshunds!  They are only 2" across, and there are 5 of them. There were probably, originally, a dozen of them in the two colors - green and blue.  They are unmarked as to where they were made.
