The ancient pursuit of hunting wild animals in their natural habitat using birds of prey is a pastime that is enjoyed the world over. Thought to have originated at around 2000 BC in Mesopotamia, falconry has often been regarded as the sport of kings and nobility. This is a real treasure trove of books, some of which are extremely rare, providing a valuable research library for anyone with an interest in this fascinating subject.
