1. How do I check if the hub is compatible with my host device?
Please check the USB C port of your host device is support charging, video transfer, data transfer, or not. If you cannot recognize it, please send your exact host device model to our customer support team.
2. I can't get the HDMI port to work. What should I do?
1) Not all USB-C ports support video output. Confirm if the connected USB C port of your device supports "DP Alt Mode" before purchase. Try a different laptop and HDMI cable to see if the issue still persists.
2) Plug your HDMI cable directly into your device and see if you get a stable connection.
3) If you can't get a stable connection, then the problem is with your HDMI cable.
4) Verify that your monitor is configured to the correct input (HDMI)
Please Note:
The video output needs your device’s type c port support DP Alt Mode or Thunderbolt 3. Please make sure whether your device supports it or not.
The Max resolutions and refresh rates output of the adapter are entirely dependent on the USB-C host devices, connected cable, and display specifications.
To manually adjust the resolution for your Window OS, go to "Windows Setting" - "System" - "Display".
If you want to play audio via the external HDMI device, please change the "the default audio output device" setting in the system preference.
Not compatible with Apple Superdrive
To manually adjust the resolution for your Mac OS, hold down the “option” key and then click “Scaled”.
