The Takamine Tri-Ax2 pickup is a magnetic pickup for acoustic guitars with a sound hole that can play not only the strings but also the box sound of the body accurately.
Based on the sound collection principle of the hum backing type magnetic pickup used in general electric guitars, by simultaneously capturing the vibration of the guitar main body with the unique TRX-AXIAL Dynamic Technology, it reproduces the harmonic range that is important for acoustic guitars, and outputs a rich acoustic guitar sound with different dimensions from conventional magnetic pickups.
The stacking ham-backing structure not only suppresses noise, but also allows the lower coil to act as a freely moving 3D body sensor, effectively capturing body vibration. You can switch between the coin battery active mode, which is resistant to external noise, and the passive mode, which is easy to use. Also, it can be connected to the Takamine CT4-DX (DMP)/CTP -3 (TDP) preamplifier with the provided special cable. The mixed sound with the parametric pickup enables various expressions.
Of course, considering the single use of commercially available acoustic guitars, it is equipped with a switchable active circuit. Enjoy the pure noise resistant sound.
