They have long been known from film, radio and television, our star politicians - as befits real show stars. Their tours, especially at voting time, are full houses and their ratings are impressive. Every four years, the blackbirds, robins and golden throats on the left bank of the Rhine prepared themselves for the last battle. The shreds fly, the wall wobbles, the beams crack, not a single eye stays dry.

No microphone is safe from them, no vocal chord is spared when it comes to making chest sounds of conviction sound. Anyone with ears to hear could already have guessed from the A-capellas in the Bundeshaus in Bonn how easy it is to sing with people's voices. A dream came true: Mr. Rhythm and Mrs. Melodie joined the eloquent rhetoric of Ciceronian polish and sent the men of our choice straight to our home. First on the domestic record player, now, because of the great success, on the Hi-Tec CD player:'Wie die Alten singen' -'Pol(h)itparade 1' ('Music from Studio Bonn') -'Pol(h)itparade 2' ('Die Liedermacher aus Bonn') - 2x'Bonn apart' and, in a way as a rhetorical highlight of the Polit-Satire package,'Lübke... Speaks for Germany'.

Now they sing again - the songwriters from Bonn. From seven black discs a CD box in a pack of four was laced, with the highlights of the Bonn Hit Parade. Schmidt and Barzel, Scheel and Kohl, Dregger and Genscher, revived and revived Lübke and Carstens, Wehner, Brandt and Strauß.

Truly, there is music in it, when FJS plays the white-blue advertising drum below the Main belt line:'Germany needs Bavaria'!

Who gets out of step when Barzel intones the resistance tango or Brandt roars his'That's good'? Who is free of rhythmic twitches when'organ' Chancellor Helmut schmidt-schnauzt his laboratory'Learn something, achieve something'?

For Eckhard Henscheid, the chief lyricist of'Titanic', Volker Kühn's satire collages, with which he takes Bonn politicians at their word,'permanently belong to the star moments of speech record history'. And this is how the rest of the press judges: Excellent ('The Time'), Record of the Month ('Pardon'), Magnificently made! ('NRZ'), Barzel-Tango! ('Der Spiegel'), entertainment with depth ('Frankfurter Abendpost/Nachtausgabe'), suspected hit ('Stuttgarter Nachrichten'), funny as hell ('TZ, Munich'), pop record of the year ('BZ, Berlin'), record hit! ('Süddeutsche Zeitung'), Fun with a double bottom ('Gong'), Giant fun ('Concrete'), Worthy of an award ('Musikspiegel'), Real performance ('Industrie- und Handels-Revue'), Diaphragm massages... Most original record of the season ('Petra'), blockbuster records, oratorio without equal ('Hamburger Morgenpost'), gap in the market, a real achievement ('Westdeutsche Zeitung'), a great joke ('Frankfurter Neue Presse'), Als Hit einfach Spitze ('Heilbronner Stimme'), laughing fit - without cramp and chuckle ('Frankfurter Rundschau'), strong pieces ('Kölner Stadtanzeiger'), Stunning cabinet piece ('Funk- und Fernseh-Journal'), Everything authentic ('Berliner Morgenpost'), Bomb idea ('Norddeutsche Rundschau'), Mammoth production ('Spandauer Volksblatt'), Hitparade suspect ('Kölner Express'), Musterhaft outstanding ('Münstersche Zeitung'), A real gap in the market ('Rheinische Post'), Original sound without retouching ('Abendzeitung, Munich'), memory aid for debate fans ... an Opera semiseria ('Münchner Merkur'), Great idea realized in a fascinating way ('Neunkircher Stadtanzeiger'), To recommend ('Cellesche Zeitung'), Laughing success ('Discotheken-Rundschau'), A Heidenspaß ('Musik-Boutique'), Kühns Clou is the exposure of the political phrase ('Die Schallplatte'), Handel announces sales ... a real documentary ('Music Market'), a rarity ('Pro + Contra'), That's never been done before... funny idea ('Nördlinger Wochenblatt'), to give away, in droves ('Sing with'), Conclusion: Bonn bearable ('Münchner Monat'), A caricature after notes ('Das deutsche Bildungsmagazin'), A delicacy ('Braunschweiger Zeitung').
