Great original Rolling Stone Magazine article published in 1974 on the Beach Boys.
Very in-depth and interesting early 70s introspective.

In 1973 American Graffitti was released with a couple Beach Boy tracks on the soundtrack.
Based on the unexpected popularity of those songs Endless Summer and Spirit of America were released.
In 1974 Rolling Stone named the Beach Boys Band of the Year.
