This King Zephyr model tenor saxophone was made in 1945 according to its serial number (#269XXX). It’s been newly professionally repadded, and according to our extremely particular sax tech, it plays “like a monster.” It may not be the prettiest Zephyrs you’ll find, but it’s definitely a good player.

This sax has been professionally repadded in our woodwind department. All the pads and corks are new. We see no signs of any major previous damage or repair, although there is some evidence of some minor dent work having been done in the bell bow in the past. The original lacquer has darkened and shows some wear (see pictures), but is about 90% present.

The case is not original to the instrument but it’s in good condition. The zipper works well and apart from some scuffs and minor wear it is undamaged and will keep this horn safe for a long time.

All reasonable offers considered.
