Soldering these in is nearly impossible, we install these into the casting with JB Weld.
We warm up the radiator casting, install the neck, and then put the JB Weld around the outer edge of the filler neck. The heat from casting will warm up the JB Weld into a thin mixture and lets it flow into all the voids really nice.
