It also supports DVDs that have the M-Disc feature, which offers more reliable data storage since it uses a patented rock-like recording surface instead of organic dye to etch your data onto a disc. This drive is designed to be installed into an available 5.25" bay on a windows desktop computer and connected via SATA. It can also operate horizontal or vertical.
