Advanced Acoustic

Advanced Acoustic is a series of acoustic guitars created by Ibanez to take the long-held tradition of acoustic guitar playing one step further. The first model in the series, the AAD, was designed to develop the essence of the dreadnought: richer, brighter, and "louder" than ever before, with an unprecedentedly wide dynamic range. After many prototypes, we arrived at a new body shape called the "Grand Dreadnought," an Ibanez original, which, as the name suggests, is characterized by its slightly larger proportions than a typical dreadnought. In addition to the big, powerful sound of the larger body, the new guitar is designed with the specifications and ergonomics demanded by today's players, making it an avant-garde acoustic guitar that is anything but traditional.
