Up for sale here is this NOS vintage Cherry porcelain-cased capacitor, Made in Japan and from the 1960s. It is marked .01 uf 600v, and tests good, around .009-.01 uf, with minimal leakage/ESR. It will work fine at full voltage.

These vintage porcelain capacitors are extremely rare. They go by a few names--Cherry, Argonne, Shield, and Herald. A boutique hand-made guitar amplifier that featured four Japanese porcelain caps in it recently sold for $1200 on eBay. Please see my pictures for details and sample test results.
