Introduction:

JC3.3 digital audio signal processor is originally developed and manufactured by ZERO-ZONE, which is connected between digital source equipment and DAC decoding.

JC3.3 can input one group of digital signals and output multiple groups of digital signals (Except for HMID port)

 

JC=JitterComber (Take it to reduce jitter and rearrange digital signals), 3.3. It is actually the version number. ZERO-ZONE has undergone 33 tests, modifications and finalization, which is of special significance for ZERO-ZONE.

 

● The application principle of JC?

The waveform of Spdif (approximately equal to the digital audio signal) has a strong phase noise. JC extracts the clock signal from the spdif and locks it with an ultra narrow band ultra low phase noise pure analog phase-locked loop to obtain a very pure and almost pollution-free clock. Use this clock to comb the spdif signal again, greatly improving the quality of the SPDIF signal, so as to improve the system.

● What role does JC play?

Fully upgrade the system, JC belongs to the sound source part, which plays a key role in upgrading the whole system

● What are the differences between JC and CPLD, femtosecond crystal oscillator, etc? Which product is the same or similar?

JC uses FPGA with larger capacity and more plasticity than CPLD, so it can achieve larger capacity than CPLD to achieve more complex functions, such as sampling rate identification, ultra-high precision phase-locked loop 'phase detector' ultra-high speed logic to achieve extremely low delay, and ultra-high capacity data pond. The purpose of this is to maximize the use of the accurate clock brought by ultra-high precision phase-locked loop

● If my decoding already has PLL, does JC not need it?

JC contains the PLL that pursues ultra narrow bandwidth, which greatly retains all the phase noise advantages of the ultra-low phase noise PLL. The PLL in decoding is the broadband PLL that guarantees the function, which is essentially different. The effect is better if the two are combined.

● What are the main lifting systems?

The stability of the full frequency has been greatly improved, the shape of the knot image has been greatly improved, the high frequency is smoother, the medium frequency is more restrained and cultured, and the low frequency is more authoritative, which is reflected in the deeper and more flexible diving.

● What is the JC application scenario? Are there any inappropriate application scenarios?

All Spdif output devices on the market can benefit. The output part of such devices often has digital cows, which will introduce strong jitter, and the rising and falling edges will not become steep, which directly leads to a large number of additional jitter generated by the decoding and receiving circuits Adding jc will add one more isolation to re correct the digital signal polluted by jitter to achieve better sound quality.

Of course, there will be inappropriate scenarios. For example, if the asynchronous clock and the source are completely isolated at the same time, JC will not work
