Ornamental sand timer from around the 1980s from Spain. The wooden frame is beautiful, and has raised grain similar to what you sometimes see on a piece of old driftwood. The grain is blackened (by fire we think) and the brown wood in between has a subtle pink undertone that blends perfectly with the pink sand inside the glass. The whole thing hangs together very nicely indeed. The hourglass piece rotates to operate.

The glass is permanently housed in the frame, it takes about 15 minutes to transfer the sand from top to bottom. No damage or blemishes, ready for use or display. Total height is 10.5 Inches.
