Wedgwood Emerald Green Gold Rim Plate Asian Scene Jasperware Hand Painted Vintage.

Rare Wedgwood plate with green background and gold rim depicting an Asian scene. Measures approx. 8 7/8” diameter. Plate is in good condition with small spots missing in the green paint. No chips or cracks. There is an apparent repair spot on the rim (pictured) which may have been performed during the manufacturing process as it was done with matching gold work.

Underside is stamped with Wedgwood’s mark and “Wedgwood Made In England”. It is also impressed with “JS” which seems to date the piece to the late 1800s – early 1900s.
