This excellent quality Sliding Focusing Rail can be adjusted in four directions:forward, backward, left and right. It can adjust the camera distance easily (as macro photography has a very short depth of field, the focus can be precise).

The Focusing Rail benefits from having a 1/4" screw hole, which means it can be used with any tripod or stand that has a 1/4" screw, for stability and ease of use allowing you to smoothly and constantly adjust the distance to the object you want to photograph. 

The rail is a durable slider, and has a geared drive system which enhances the accuracy and the speed of adjustment of the rail greatly with two precise double scales, and allows precise distance modifications. 

The rail can be adjusted 5cm from left to right, and 10cm moving forwards and backwards. It has adjustable locking knobs to lock the slider into the positions you desire, it also has a 1/4" standard screw on the plate that fits most DSLR's.
