This is an original Foot Control Pedal made by SINGER and is their part #197629.  It's made of brown Bakelite with the original cord in good condition.  This Sewing Motor Controller, as Singer calls it, will fit Singer Models 301, 401, 401 and 404 that I know of.  Ready to plug into your machine.
