German Imperial Bavarian Officer's / NCO's sword, early 1900s. Black painted "P" guard and dove head hilt. The grip is a very nice example of black bakelite. It is tight wrapped with three strands of twisted brass wire, with the central strand being much thicker than the outer two. Plain nickel-plated, narrow, double fullered, 31 ½" single-edge blade, japanned scabbard with single suspension ring. Wear to blade and a few scuffs spots and paint loss to scabbard. Good condition overall.
