Here is an old, cabinet card photo of a young man in a dark jacket, white shirt and dark color bowtie.  He has dark hair parted in the middle.  On the back he is identified as Grant Fink.  The photographer was B. Ashbouchen of Bluffton, Indiana.  I think that is the name of the photographer, it was hard to see on the dark cardboard.  I did some research and found that Grant Sutton Daily Fink was born in 1891, in Bluffton, the son of John Fink and his wife Nancy Sutton, his father was born in Pennsylvania and his mother in Indiana.  Grant had a brother Howard Clark Fink and a sister Wilmetta Margaret Fink.  He served in the U. S. Navy and in the 1910 census he is serving as a Quarter Master on the USS Vermont.  In June of 1913, he married Mary Alice O'Hearn of Dayton, Ohio.  They had 2 children before Mary Alice passed away in 1923.  His second wife was Ruby Crowe (1897 - 1983). Grant and Ruby were living in Missouri, where he died in 1954.  Ruby died in 1983, they are buried in Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery in Joplin, Missouri.  The photo is nice and clear with some spots from age and storage on it, mostly to the right of the head, but one spot is on the throat.   Some white spots on the upper corner of the cardboard, too.  Great old photo for anyone researching the Fink, Sutton, Crowe or O'Hearn families.  Postage will be 4.80 to the U. S.  IF OUTSIDE THE U. S., PLEASE USE THE POSTAL CALCULATOR TO DETERMINE THE COST OF POSTAGE.  If you like old photographs and ephemera, please check out my EBay store and the other old photos I have listed.  Many different subjects, time periods and places!  I mail all my old photos in padded envelopes with cardboard to keep them from being bent.  Thank you!
