New! Herpa 534857 British Airways Boeing 747-100 "Sebastian Cabot" farewell ship, registration: G-AWNN  - 1:500 diecast scale model

Please note: this is a 1/500 scale model!

2020 was not a good year for the "queen of the skies", the Boeing 747. Due to the pandemic and the resulting slump in demand, many airlines radically grounded many types of aircraft, including the now aging jumbo jets. At the end of the era of the 747 at British Airways, we look back at its beginnings: In November 1973, half a year before the official merger of BEA and BOAC into British Airways, G-AWNN was the first jumbo jet to be painted in the new company colors. Even though the "Queen" had previously flown with BOAC, this 747 was the first to carry the name "British Airways" into the world. A display stand is included with this particular model.
