 Released in theaters in 1988, the animated film version of "AKIRA" went beyond the realm of manga to revolutionize the world of animation. This book, from the huge amount of layouts, original images, and original image corrections used in the production of the anime version, is drawn by Katsuhiro Otomo himself, who was also the original author and director, in all three volumes.
