The 6" square tile is black, white, orange, and mustard yellow. The wooden frame is pink-orange.
This item was made in Japan, although I haven't been able to identify the M logo. The design looks very 60s or early 70s to me.
I'd say this item is in fair vintage condition. The tile has hairline crack and there are some small cracks in the wooden frame as well (see photos), but it still has a super groovy look! And it's absolutely still usable for serving cheese or whatever else strikes your fancy.
There's a hole through the handle, so you could also just hang it on the wall to decorate a colorful retro kitchen!
