Here we have a FAB vintage Arabia Finland ceramic wall plaque/plate! I absolutely LOVE this and would keep it if I had the space to display it properly! I recently purchased this whilst away in Finland and it was my favourite purchase of the trip. I have tried researching this but with little success, the only other example I could find was in the "Finna" museum where they also had 2 similar examples. The plate was designed by top Finnish designer and sculptor Paikkari Pekka who has had over 200 exhibitions worldwide having worked for Iitala, Arabia and Moomin designs over the years. This plate was produced in 1989 for the 1994 athletics championships in Helsinki. This features an image of a high jumper leaping over the pole with a pop art/ Memphis art movement style background which is just superb. This is a wonderful display item, perfect for an interior designer, a collector of Arabia Finland or an enthusiast of mid century styled pottery. It measures approximately 12.75 inches by 11.5 inches and comes with original plate holder so you can easily hang on the wall. This is the only one on eBay of course so get it while you can! If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.

Please see my other items where I have a good selection of mid century ceramics listed amongst other decorative antiques and interesting items.

Please add me to your favourites list and take a look at my other items as I have hundreds that will be listed daily in the up and coming weeks.

Please Note;

I use new & recycled materials to ensure that your item arrives to you safely. I pack all of my items the best I can which you will see from my feedback. However, as with fragile items there is always a risk, items such as Antiques/Collectables, glass, ceramics, paintings etc are not insured for damage by any of the postal services, with the exception of The Royal Mail. This is why I offer a choice of postage options, so you can choose your preferred postage method. Collection in person is also available on all of my items. In the unfortunate, and unlikely event that something does get damaged or goes missing with the Royal Mail then I will do my very best to assist you in making a claim. I always obtain proof of postage for all of my sent items. Sadly I cannot be held responsible for the postal services poor handling of parcels. Here are a few links regarding Royal Mails compensation policies and how to make a claim if necessary.

Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.
